Attended the Cabernet Sauvignon tasting at Wine Country in Long Beach this evening. I had been looking forward to this all month. There were 12 wines on the list and at the end someone asked how these would compare to a French Bordeaux. Randy were generously opened a bottle of 2002 Chateau Margaux Premier Grand Cru ($200). Needless to say that this wine was a real winner. I personally rate this wine at 10 on my own 1 to 10 scoring system. I am not going to describe each wine we had this evening, but I have indicated my score, which only reflects my personal taste.
